We arrived and there was no queue so got to sit down straight away. There was so many things to choose from so we had a drink and a starter. I chose the hibiscus drink and we shared the guacamole tortilla chips to start. The guacamole was out of this world it was so fresh (made every day fresh) and instead of being overpowered by garlic it was light and fresh.
We then had a good look through the menu, which had a lot to choose from.
I chose the beef burrito and again the food arrived really swiftly which I really like as there is nothing worse than sitting for hours waiting for your food. Unfortunately I thought it was a bit disappointing, the beef was chewy and I wasn't sure about the sauce on it. My other half had the pork burrito which was really fresh and the meat was shredded which was really nice. I think if the beef was shredded it would have been better for me.
Now as we all know there is always room for dessert! I had never tried a churros before so I took this chance to try them. They were super tasty the churros had nutmeg and cinnamon on them and the little teacup of chocolate was so indulgent and lovely. I only had a little bit of the chocolate but only because it was so rich! It was presented so beautifully as well!
Also I noticed whilst waiting for dessert the restaurant donates money to a UNESCO to help educate street kids in Mexico and anything that helps charity I respect completely. They also offered a special payment system that meant you didn't have to wait for the bill you could settle it and leave a message for your waitress and get on with your day. It worked really well and saved a lot of time during busy lunch service.
The decor was beautiful and the experience was lovely. I would definitely go back but would make a different selection for my food.
